Class of 2020

An open submission exhibition in a pop up gallery in Surrey Quays shopping centre, an end-of-year show to document an extraordinary 12 months. Class of 2020 was the brainchild of its curator, Southwark-based artist, Rod Kitson, who extended an open invitation to all artists to submit their work, with the only criterion being that it had to have been produced in 2020. 270 works by 160 artists from across the globe, ranging from experienced professional artists through to new artists who had only picked up pen, paint brush and paper in response to a year of isolation and lock down.
