Pushing Paper with BobCat Gallery

BobCat Gallery will be popping up in Hampton Wick this summer for a new exhibition at the ruptureXIBIT space called ‘Pushing Paper’. The show will run 26th June - 2nd July, and will feature 20+ artists working with paper in innovative or unexpected ways.

Curator and BobCat Gallery Founder, Catherine Sweet, says: “These works are brought together to explore the many ways paper can be used as a medium as well as a surface - everything from folding it to cutting it, collaging and creating sculpture. This is a wonderful chance to delve into the inspirations and craftsmanship of these talented creators, who are pushing paper to its limits.”

Featured works will include intricate origami, meditative paper cut images and installations, collages, and a several unique works created with handmade papers through a variety of traditional and modern techniques.

The exhibition private view will take place on Wednesday 28th June from 6pm - 8.30pm. To register for your free ticket, head to Eventbrite at www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/private-view-pushing-paper-presented-by-bobcat-gallery-tickets-627072650177
